The RSSA is proud to announce the 2025 induction of two of its members to the MN Senior Sports Associations Hall of Fame on Friday, May 23rd. We celebrate the inductions of Terry Mens and Don Bowman’s Championship team, Minnesota River Bats/Ancell. There are several RSSA members on this MN River Bats team.
Terry has been an active player (C league in recent years) and leader for over 25 years with the Roseville Senior Softball Association (RSSA) as a player, board member, deputy commissioner, director, and manager.
Don, previously inducted as an individual RSSA player, is co-manager with Steve Schletty of the 2024 World Championships for their age group. Congratulations!

Playing the best-of-three in the Men's 75+ AA, the Minnesota Lumberjacks swept the Top Gun Olde Dawgs of California 16-14 and 15-10 to win the title. The Lumberjacks finished 4-1 overall. The 2024 World Championships held in Las Vegas, Nevada was sponsored by Senior Softball-USA. Team members from RSSA are Ron Davis, Larry Jacobson, Mick Kukielka, Tom Ashcraft, Dick Bunde and Jerry Ockenfels. |

Minnesota Masters The Minnesota Masters were the undefeated champs in Florida in January. RSSA members on the team include Mark Heinz, Tom Lundberg, Norm Setnicker, Gene Thompson.and Dave Weber.

2024 WORLD CHAMPIONS The Minnesota Riverbats completed the 2024 season with their 7th tournament win by winning the World Championships in Las Vegas. The Riverbats beat teams from Arizona, California, Utah, and West Virginia before defeating R&R (California) by the score of 22-10 in the 19 team field. The team is managed by Steve Schletty and Don Bowman.
